⚡️🇮🇹🏭 The latest conjunctural survey by Federmeccanica reveals that in 2025, Italian metal-mechanical and mechatronic industry production decreased by 0.9%, with a strong decline in the automotive sector of -11.1%.

🔻 The slowdown is attributed to the unstable international context, with effects on supply chains, energy costs, and export strategies of companies.

🔻 The sector's export has grown by 2.9% compared to 2024, but remains far from the double-digit rates that characterized the sector in previous years.

🔻 Federmeccanica also notes that geopolitical tensions and uncertainty over US trade policy, among announcements and changes to tariffs, represent one of the main obstacles to the recovery of export growth.
