⚡️🇺🇸🛢️The United States have become the world's largest oil exporter, surpassing Saudi Arabia and Russia, and consolidating its weight on global energy markets: in May, Washington would have exported around 10.5 million barrels a day, equivalent to around 10% of the world's oil consumption.

🔻The overtaking was favored by the increase in US production in recent years, but also by the difficulties of competitors: Saudi exports are hit by the war between the United States and Iran, while Russian exports are affected by sanctions and Ukrainian attacks on energy infrastructure.
