⚡️🇳🇵🌊 A landslide and the detachment of a huge mass of ice from a high-altitude glacier have caused devastating floods in Nepal, along the border with Tibet.

🔻The Nepalese police confirmed the death of 157 people, while 49 are hospitalized and 384 missing, of whom 291 are foreign citizens.

🔻Initial satellite analyses indicate that a portion of the glacier would have detached at about 5,200 meters altitude, due to the high temperatures recorded in the Himalayan area, plunging more than a kilometer into the valley.
