⚡️🇫🇷🔥Hundreds of thousands of people descended yesterday onto the squares of France in the second act of the mobilizations on October 17, also defying the bans imposed by the prefectures.

🔻 In Paris, thousands of people descended into the square despite government repression, and in the evening the police carried out repeated charges and used batons and tear gas, with over 400 arrests and a dozen injuries.

🔻 In at least 14 French cities, fascist squads descended onto the streets during the mobilizations, attacking and threatening the protesters. The cities involved include Montpellier, Nancy, Rouen, Lyon, Bordeaux, and Toulouse.

🔻 In Montpellier, the squads beat some protesters in front of the riot police, who then charged the crowd that had intervened to help the attacked. In Nancy and Rouen, the police allegedly controlled the protesters, allowing the aggressors to leave.
