⚡️🇮🇳🇵🇰🚨Indian Minister of Water Resources CR Patil has stated that New Delhi is working so that "not a single drop of water" reaches Pakistan, after the suspension in 2025 of the Indus Waters Treaty.

🔻 The 1960 agreement regulates the management of six rivers that originate in India and flow towards Pakistan. Islamabad maintains that the treaty remains valid and has repeatedly stated that an interruption of the water flows would be considered an "act of war".

🔻 India has announced new projects on the Chenab river, but according to several experts, the current infrastructure does not yet allow for blocking or diverting the water in a significant way. Any works would require years to be completed and would not come into operation before the next decade.
