⚡️🇮🇹🔥The truckers’ blocks against high fuel prices are putting strong pressure on the food supply chain in southern Italy, hindering the transport of goods and causing interruptions in supermarket and distributor refills.
🔻 In Campania, the protests have affected the port of Naples and the A1 and A30 motorways. In Sicily, truckers maintain a halt at the ports, while in Calabria the mobilization involves about 15 protests in strategic areas, including those near Lamezia Terme airport and Gioia Tauro port.
🔻 Meanwhile, 873 bakers from the province of Cosenza have joined the strike against rising production costs and the commercial conditions imposed by large distribution.
