⚡️🇮🇹🚨The General Prosecutor's Office of Milan investigated six police officers and a doctor for the death of Igor Squeo, 33, who died on June 12, 2022 after a police intervention at his home. Four officers are charged with premeditated murder, two with ideological falsehood and the doctor with negligent murder and falsehood.
🔻For years the investigation had attributed the death to a cocaine overdose and the Prosecutor had requested the case be archived twice. Prosecutor General Francesca Nanni, however, pursued the investigation and challenged this reconstruction.
🔻According to the new investigative hypothesis, Squeo would have died from positional asphyxiation caused by the improper physical restraint performed by the officers during the intervention, possibly with the contribution of Propofol administration. The General Prosecutor's Office has ordered a new medico-legal examination.
