⚡️🇾🇪🪖In the last hours the Houthi have taken control of more than two thousand square kilometers of territory in southwestern Yemen, following the withdrawal of forces loyal to the Presidential Leadership Council.

🔻 Among the positions captured are the coastal cities of Hays, Al-Khawkha and the port city of Mocha, as well as the strategic military camp of Khalid ibn al-Walid.

🔻 The advance has given the group almost total control of the Yemeni side of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the coast of the Red Sea.

🔻 Forces of the Presidential Leadership Council have retreated south, while maneuvers are still reported in the area of the city of Taizz.
