Italy: ⚡️🇮🇹📉 The Istat confirmed Italy's deficit/GDP ratio at 3.1% in 202...

⚡️🇮🇹📉 The Istat confirmed Italy's deficit/GDP ratio at 3.1% in 2025, down from 3.4% in 2024. GDP was instead revised upward, with growth of 0.6%.

🔻 The figure remains above the European threshold of 3% and does not allow Italy to exit early from the EU procedure for excessive deficit. Minister Giorgetti indicated 2027 as a possible exit year.
