⚡️🇲🇬🪖Some soldiers from the elite unit CAPSAT in Antananarivo, Madagascar, joined anti-government protests against President Andry Rajoelina, refusing orders to shoot and taking control of some military facilities.

🔻 The demonstrations, which began on September 25 due to water and electricity shortages, are demanding presidential resignations, dissolution of the Senate and the electoral commission.

🔻 The situation remains tense with sporadic clashes; at least 22 deaths and numerous injuries have been reported since the start of the protests, while the president describes the move as an illegal attempt at a coup.
