⚡️🇩🇪🪖Germany has registered only 530 enlistments among the 298,200 18-year-olds contacted for the new voluntary military service of the Bundeswehr, with an adherence of around 0.18% of the recipients.

🔻 The Ministry of War has stated that 25% of young men had initially shown interest through a questionnaire, but the number decreased after phone contacts, medical visits, and final selection.

🔻 Berlin aims to increase the personnel from around 186,000 to 260,000 soldiers by the mid-2030s to meet NATO's objectives, not excluding the return to compulsory conscription if voluntary recruitment proves insufficient.
