⚡️🇮🇹👷🩸A 43-year-old worker died today while working along the Venice-Trieste railway line, near the San Giorgio di Nogaro station, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

🔻The worker, a Tunisian worker resident in Latisana and employed by a company involved in railway construction on the route, would have gotten off a work vehicle and lost his balance near the tracks.

🔻According to the first reconstructions, the man would have been hit by a passing train on the adjacent track, coming from the opposite direction and without passengers on board. The impact would have been immediately fatal.

🔻Emergency services, firefighters, and law enforcement agencies have intervened at the scene. The Polfer, the Scientific Police, and safety technicians from the Health Agency are reconstructing the dynamics of the accident and checking compliance with the prevention measures provided in the construction site.
