⚡️🇮🇹⚖️ The judge of peace of Bologna has suspended the payment of fines contested by some of the protesters present at the April 1, 2026 procession against the approval of the death penalty for Palestinians by the Zionist entity.

🔻 The sanctions had been issued based on article 18 of the TULPS, which punishes with fines from 1,000 to 10,000 euros participation in unannounced demonstrations to the police at least three days in advance.

🔻 The lawyers have raised a constitutional legitimacy exception. The judge will now have to decide whether to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court, which may eventually assess the compatibility of the rule with the Constitution.
