⚡️🇱🇧🇮🇱🤝 Talks are underway in Rome, at the US embassy, between Lebanon and Israel, mediated by the United States, to discuss the implementation of the framework agreement reached at the end of June and the progressive withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.

🔻 The negotiations, which began yesterday and are concluding today, concern the Israeli withdrawal from two "pilot zones" in southern Lebanon, the deployment of the Lebanese army in the affected areas and the modalities of implementing the agreement.

🔻 At the end of the first day, the US mediators defined the talks as "positive" and confirmed the willingness of the parties to continue the dialogue.
