⚡️🇮🇹⚖️The European Court of Human Rights has condemned Italy for the beating suffered by the FDO from Gianluca Fanesi in 2017 in Vicenza, judging the internal investigation insufficient in the face of a treatment qualified as inhuman and degrading, and ordering a total compensation of 150,000 euros.

🔻Fanesi, then 44 years old, after a clash between the fan groups found himself between a fence and a police van, with a video that shows how, while walking with his hands raised, he was hit from behind and hit on the back of the head by a police officer.

🔻The blow to the back of the head caused the man serious injuries, which required three surgical interventions and a one-month hospital stay in a pharmacological coma. According to what is reported by the Court in the judgment, the man still lives today with permanent consequences.

🔻The Vicenza Police Headquarters had initially spoken of an accidental fall, with the man having caused the injuries by tripping during the flight.
