⚡️🇫🇷🤖France has planned the creation by 2027 of the first fully robotic combat unit composed of around 15 ground robots and up to 60 drones, coordinated by artificial intelligence systems.
🔻 The "Pendragon" program, developed by the French Ministry of Defence AI Agency AMIAD together with the Army, provides for operators to assign objectives while robotic systems autonomously execute offensive, defensive, or terrain control missions.
🔻 The declared goal is to reduce the exposure of frontline soldiers by using robots and drones in their place, while maintaining human control as an integral part of operational use.
